A couple of days ago, I was asked what it was to be mindful. It got me thinking on how to explain and share the concept so others could begin the practice of being in the present moment.
Here’s a start…
- Only do one thing at a time.
- Even if it’s just few times a day … resist multi-tasking. As the Buddhists say “When walking, walk. When eating, eat.”
Try it and discover how much more you notice about those particular moments. I’m thinking about sharing more suggestions on our website … or starting a free 10 week mindfulness program (on-line). What do you think? Are you interested?
